Wasn't fancy, but was fine for my one night stay.
As others have said, this is in a "rough" section of town. The lighting was very good however and the property had a fence all around it. They do accept pets and this is what I was looking for as I was returning to la from Denver.
Room was easily accessible to the car park, we parked right outside the door which made it easy to move in our luggage. The check out time of midday was good as we needed to rest up after many hectic days touring. Staff were friendly and courteous.
The hot water system must have been a long way from our room as it took nearly 10 minutes from turning the tap on to when the hot water arrived.
I love that this hotel is not on the strip but its like 5 mins. Drive to get to the strip wich is not that bad It was really quite!!
Our stay was short but was a nice clean hotel! I had left something in our room when we check out and did not realize it till we were back in ca when I had called to ask them to get it fir me it took 24 hours to get it and I never got a call back letting me know they got it! So I had to keep calling yo ask and still got no answers so the lack of caring about something important was not to nice! It was not there fault but they could have help and gave better information ! The best person to speak with is the night guy John he was nice and funny and he did help me so for that thank you John
cheap & clean.
many vagrants sleep on the streets round that area of main st. No problems, but feels a bit threatening at night.
Clean and reasonably comfortable. Restaurant was run very well and Food and service was spot on. Far enough off the main part of town to be much more quiet than most places in the area. Close to Cashman Center and Fremont St.
Chairs need to be larger and more comfortable, sheets need to be large enough to remain tucked in.
I was in Las Vegas on a house hunting trip. The hotel was centrally located, easy access on and off the freeway. The staff in all areas were very pleasant and friendly. The rooms we comfortable, clean and quite, I think do to the fact the pool was located away from the sleeping rooms.
It was comfortable and the staff were very helpful. Also use of facilities was was good.
Easy access to the strip.
Large fight among some domestics upstairs from my room. Lost about 2 hrs of sleep.
It was near where we needed to be. and easy to get around town.
The room clod have been to the front, as opossed to the back for people who are older... wouldhve felt safer!
The staff was very friendly and helpful. The restaurant was good and the service quick, even though there was a party and it was full.
The hotel is located only 1 block from the homeless shelter and one street was blocked by homeless. It is a little intimidating. The room for the most part was clean; however, the coffee pot was disgusting - hadn't been clean. The shower in the bathroom had hair on the wall. The icemaker didn't work.
The price wasn't bad.
The neighborhood was terrible .I had only my sister and 9yr old grand daughter. I would never have gone into that neighborhood if I had known it was that bad. There wasn't anything close to get something to eat. We came in about midnight. It was not easy to see and not well lit. Homeless people were everywhere the next morning when we left. Made us uncomfortable being all females.
The only outstanding feature was the nice lobby area
The hotel was very clean and the staff was extremely pleasant. We chose it because they were pet friendly and very reasonably priced. We were surprised with all the tv channels and comfortable beds, an unexpected plus!
Walls were thin and it was not located in the best part of town.
Last minute decsion to travel on New Years 2013 made us stay at Main Street. This place truly is on skid row among the homeless. Being said, its really not bad and we would go there again in a pinch. Jeff, the hotel chef was one of the best!
Noise level was bad and location being semi convenient was terrible!
